Transfer from WBS Estimates to Item Requirements

I am trying to create item requirements from WBS estimate but I am receiving below error. There is no option to enter site information in WBS estimates.

Hello Gourav,

Have you tried setting up the default order settings for this item in the released product site?

Are you aware of any modification that has been made and which might be responsible for the error message?

Hi Ludwig,

Yes, It worked after setting default order settings, but it will not be useful as site may change based on project location. Setting default order setting may result in PO at wrong site.

Yes there are modifications in WBS and item requirements but I don't think this error is due to those modifications.

Dear Ludwig,

The client I am working on is a Solar company which installs solar panels at customer location. So site and warehouse are created based on those customer locations. Currently we have around 20 site and 600 warehouses. we can't use default order setting at all.

could extend to add site in the screen where it ask to 'Transfer from WBS estimates' to tiem requirement

Hi Ludwig,

Got the solution, We can mention site and warehouse in Item forecasts in Plan Tab and can generate item requirements from same screen. Thanks for the support .

Hi Gourav,

From WBS estimates type item with an item associated, you can specify site and warehouse either by using Product dimension option:

Values put there will be transferred to item requirement lines.
