Work Order Products not updated after RMA

Hello Community

I have a scenario and not sure if I am doing anything wrong or not.

So here's it;

  1. I have created a Work Order of Maintenance type and added two Products to it. 
  2. While the work order was in progress state, I filed the RMA (by creating RMA, RMA Receipt and approved it) for one of the products. 
  3. The status of the RMA Receipt says Product Received but it did not update anything in the Work Order Products subgrid (like the quantity is still the same).

What am I missing or is there any issue?

    RMA Receipt will be set to 'Products Received' when you have added all the RMA Receipt Products. It has no relevance to the Work Order Product.

    You could have a workflow to run off the back of it though.

    So what I have got from your comment is that Work Order Product quantities will not be affected even if RMA Receipt will set it to Products Received?

    I just double checked to see if the RMA does update the quantities on the Work Order Product and does not seem to do anything on the quantities. (Unless we are doing something wrong)

    You can just run a workflow on creation of RMA Receipt Product to go and update the WOP, as there is some sort of link there.
