Hello community,

Is it possible to handle and manage consent with dynamics sales? We would like to send out e-mails and create lists. But we have to comply with GDPR. Is it possible to do this within dynamics sales and if so, how should we do this? Or is it necessary to purchase dynamics marketing?

How to manage consent and send e-mails with dynamics 365 sales

Hi Partner,

Marketing licenses are not required to be purchased!

If you just want to send emails from Dynamics, you can configure mailbox for the user who send the email:

In the Power Platform admin center, select an environment.

Select Settings > Email > Mailboxes.

Change the view to Active Mailboxes.

Select the mailbox record for the user who sent the email(From field value), and then click the Edit button.

Set the ‘Incoming Email’ and ‘Outgoing Email’ fields to ‘Server-Side Synchronization or Email Router’, then click ‘Approve Email’ on the ribbon and click ‘Test and Enable Mailbox’. Once the email has been enabled you will see the Incoming Email status and Outgoing Email Status on the mailbox record showing as ‘Success’.
