Anywhere to see the process for adding security in AOT?

Hi, we recently lost a high level DEV, and part of what he brought to the team was configuring control security in D365 F&O.

For example, I might have a button that has no menuitem with which to apply security, i.e.

I have AOT access, and am wondering, is there any place to go to where I could see the process for applying a control permission change,

working with the models, through to packaging it up, etc...?

Is that wishful thinking?

Hi Andre, always appreciate your answers.

My question also goes to the next step(s) after:

On the Models tab, click Build.

After model is built, are the security changes felt on the server yoy're working on?

Is there any sort of "standard" set of steps to get the changes put into effect for my other the D365 environments?

i.e. the process for packaging up a model for deployment..or do these steps vary widely enough from env to env, that it's impossible to

lay out explicitly how to do it..?
