Reset Marketing Application Configuration

Good day Community

Could you please advise what would be the correct steps to reset the Marketing for Dynamics 365 Application in the Admin Center under the Applications Tab.

I have noticed that the application does get created in AZURE, and when i tried to configure the application in there, it only gives me the option to delete the application.

What would happen if i delete the application in AZURE? will i be able to configure the Marketing Application in the Dynamics Admin Center again?

Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Tyler,

    Can you please send me the Marketing instance URL for your customer, the exact steps you took which resulted in the errors shown above and also send me the support ticket number?  Please send to meg@med03.onmicrosoft.com with [UNINSTALL ERRORS] in the subject line.

    Hi Guys

    Thanks for the response. 

    I have tried to uninstall the Marketing Application from the Dynamics 365 Admin Center but i have encountered the below errors.

    Does anyone know how to fix this? I have contacted support but they are taking quite a while to resolve this.

    This is an urgent matter to resolve as the client is requesting it.

    Any advise will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks Adrian.  Tyler, you shouldn't manage any Marketing configuration in Azure, please use the Dynamics 365 Admin Center.  As a follow-on to Adrian's suggestion to do the uninstall, you may encounter some solutions that aren't able to uninstall, but go through the list in order and then do the reset.  We are in the process of updating this particular piece of documentation at this time as the uninstall failures are a known-issue.  Also please note that you won't have the option to reset a trial, only a paid instance.

    Hi Tyler Blandin de Chalain,

    For standard Dynamics 365 instances (without Marketing installed) you can use the Dynamics 365 admin center to reset or delete an instance. However, if you have Marketing installed, you must completely uninstall it first as described in Uninstall Marketing from a Dynamics 365 instance.
