Systematically Synchronize Database

I have an SSIS script which copies our production environment to test.  After the script is run, I must manually open the environment to synchronize the DB.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to systematically kick off a database sync?  I would like to schedule this script to run weekly, but I cannot because of this missing step.

Has anyone successfully used the business connector to do this?  command lines?  etc.?
