In my role I often need to update multiple work orders with the same comment.

I can only see how to add a work comment 1 work order at a time.

Is there anyway to select all the work orders, and add a comment to all of them at once?

1. Bulk / Mass Update Feature
Select multiple work orders (via checkboxes in a list view)
click on “Edit" Button and update comment which will update all selected record with same comment.

2. Import / Data Load
Export the work orders (Excel/CSV)
Add the comment column
Re-import/update

3. Automation
you can implement custom logic as per your requirement or add Custom button on home grid , it will take selected record and run an update

Just because Manoj hasn't mentioned it in his great answer and I just spent an hour setting up something similar:

If you simply want the comment to be copied to a child or related WO, you could use relationship mapping to copy and propagate comments without any other logic.

What I've also done is create a simple Businessrule that has a starting condition that always runs, then set the text to something predefined. It sounds like your comments are more varied though.

But as Manoj suggested, it sounds like you want a Bulk Edit. Just ensure you have the required privileges.
