Problem with section that need to be splitted/opened manually

Hello everyone.

First of all, sorry for my English that is not so good.


In company where I work we switched to Nav 2009 R2 6.0 from about a year, and from the beginning we have a problem that not even our customer support team is able to solve: the screens in every area, every few is compacted and the only way to reopen it is to do it manually.

For example in the orders, the sections GENERAL, BILLING, SHIPPING, etc, close all compacted and we must split/open them manually to be able to complete all the information needed.
This happens in every area (orders, offers, customer list, article, etc...)

The greater discomfort are offered and orders, because we have to do this operation every 2-3 inserted documents, and it is a real waste of time.

What can be the causes of this problem? Someone has found the same problem?
In our company we have done everything to understand and resolve, but without succes.

    Hi Kylianne,

    I haven't faced this problem before, some suggestions for you:

    - Check some properties of page, container and group types.

    - Primary key fields and first group section of page, please check this mibuso link.

    - Is there any add-on, please check this link.

    - Clear user personalization.

    yes, the sections remained expanded for a while, but at some point (we don't do anything special) I enter in one order or an offer, and all sections are closed, and so I have to reopen them all manually...

    We can't understand whty they close... and our customer service can't help us :(

    I'm curious to know if someone had the same problem and have fixed it.

    Hi Elena,

    But once you have expanded the section, close the page and reopening the page should show the section opened.  Isn't it happening that way?

    I know that I can arrange each voice, in fact my Nav is customized with my preference.

    The problem is that these sections sometimes close, while I need to ALWAYS remain open.

    Our customer service told us "if you open a section, the section will remains open always", but this is not true... because these sections sometimes close by theirself.

    I can also customize this? If yes, how I can made this?

    Hi Kylianne,

    Information in each sections can be arranged. Your NAV supplier should help you on this!

    Besides, keyboard shortcut keys is helpful for entering data, please refer to my blog community.dynamics.com/.../nav-windows-client-keyboard-shortcuts.aspx

    Hola Elena.

    It seems a system error rather than NAV.

    The only thing I think you can do on the side of NAV is ask your partner to install the latest cummulative Update platform.

    Yes, sure.

    See here enclosed the table of the order with all the section closed.

    In this image, the section GENERALE is open and splitted, the others (RIGHE, SPEDIZIONE, FATTURAZIONE, etc...) are closed. I have to open them manually.

    Somehow the issue is unclear.  Could you the post the screenprint of the report where you have the above mentioned issue?
