Integrating BC with SAP Ariba?

Hi all!

We are a distributor running BC Saas. We have some customers that use SAP Ariba for procurement, and we spend a lot of time manually updating data in SAP Ariba like order confirmations, shipment notifications, invoices etc. For incoming documents from our customers, it is no problem, because we get emails from SAP that we can forward to Continia Document Capture, and we can process them together with other customer purchase orders.

Therefore, our need is to integrate communication from BC to SAP. We need SAP Ariba to be automatically updated as orders are confirmed, shipped and invoices in BC.

Does anyone have a suggestion for best practice to do that, or if there is an app already doing this?

    First of all I don't know SAP Ariba but I know "main" SAP S/4 Hana quite well. I've checked the technological base and looks different due to in the past was a differente software. I think the best that you could do it's contact several partners and try to make so kind of joint venture because you will require their knowledge to deplay a webservice and even more probable if you want to be automated on the Ariba backend .

    there is no direct connector between BC and SAP

    so a flow via API rest should be developed
    between BC and SAP.

    I think this is the best way

    alternatively I see that even with logic app you could set up an effective solution, because logic app or power automate have the SAP connector:
