Knowledge Article - Customize Expiration State & Expiration Status on quick form

Posted on by

Hello there,

on the quick form for publishing a new article i want to set a default value for Expiration State and Expiration Status. By default they are both "Expired", i want to be set to "Published" (as Customer requirement).

    Hi partner,

    Unfortunately, it is by design.

There is no such Expiration Status field in KB article entity or Global option set fields. There is only a "expirationstatusid" in KB article and it could not be found in form which means we could not set default value for it by JS or Business Rules.

If you still want this feature, please raise an idea to Microsoft.

    Regards,

    Leo
