Our Dataverse search is returning the below error message:
Have tried turning the dataverse search facility off and on again. The managed search index matches our development environment, which works correctly and the tables are all enabled for search. Any ideas as to what would be the cause?
Hi,
You must check if the dataverse search is enabled for your environment or no.
To check this, Just navigate to Power Platform Admin Center > Select your environment> Configuration> Features, and then check if you have the dataverse search enabled or no

Hi JB_1991,
I think it may be because the search scope is too large, resulting in a time-out problem.
Or have you just configured the table index and need to wait a while.
Perhaps you can use the system administrator role to try to troubleshoot permission issues
Ok, thanks. It's a pretty specific search (by full contact name and only one with that name exists in the system), so wouldn't have thought it should timeout - it returns the error very quickly as well.
Table index was reconfigured, but have given it over 24hrs, so can't imagine it wouldn't be complete by now, so not too sure what else could be causing it.
Could you please provide me with the screenshots of your search and Settings?
