Can a Shopify basic (non plus) version sync Companies to BC Customer Card B2B

Hi ALL
I have tested shopify plus where you see customer (individuals) and companies (business) as separate entities, and sync shopify companies to BC customer (B2B) accounts with specific business details. All works as expected.
Now the Scenario we have is, Plus version is not used.  Shopify (basic) is run as a B2B shop using apps such as wholesales pricing and discounts and shopify customer tags. So a tag will indicate if it needs to be treated as an individual (and mapped to a generic customer code in BC) or need a specific customer(company type) in BC. I want to ensure I'm not missing a standard functionality as this seems a customisation
I have the same question (0)

Hello, as per my knowledge, in Shopify Plus, businesses and individual customers are separate entities, making it easy to sync B2B customers to Business Central. However, in Shopify Basic, B2B functionality relies on tags and third-party apps rather than built-in features. To differentiate between individuals and businesses, you can use customer tags to map individuals to a generic customer code in BC and businesses to specific customer accounts. Since Shopify Basic lacks native B2B support, handling this scenario would likely require customization in Business Central to process tagged customers accordingly.

Hope this answer will help you!

    Hello,

In the scenario where you're using Shopify Basic for a B2B shop, leveraging apps like wholesale pricing and customer tags is a common approach. Shopify Basic doesn't natively support B2B features like Shopify Plus, so using tags to differentiate between individual and company customers is a practical solution. This setup does involve some customization, as Shopify Basic lacks built-in B2B functionalities. Ensure your tags are consistently applied and mapped correctly in Business Central to maintain accurate customer records. If you need more advanced B2B features, consider exploring third-party apps or integrations designed for B2B operations.
