A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Hi All,

We have configured the new machine replicated the DB and model store from existing machine.

We are able to open SSRS reports having normal data, but if we try to open reports with large data (Project transactions) getting the below error :

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Please advise us in resolving this issue.

    seems the session time out is less for SSRS than what it was on original environment

    You can increase SSRS session time, from reporting URL or using SSMS. I think by default it is 1800 seconds

    Hi Sohaib,

    I have followed the steps to change the report running time , In the report management URL  --> site settings -- >do not time out report (enabled), but still the same error is coming :

    A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

    Please advise.

    I am sorry to hear that. Is this happening with each report or with a specific report only?
