Dynamics 365 Submitted Sales Order Amend Challenge

Hi CRM cohort.

We are using Dynamics 365 Sales with Dynamics 365 BC, where we have integration of sales ordered between two apps.
Once the order is submitted from Dynamics 365 Sales to BC, the record - Sales Order in Dynamics 365 Sales is locked for further changes:
"Read-only This record’s status: Submitted".
After certain period, before posting sales shipment and sales invoice for that order in BC, customer has decided to add more items to existing order. I am aware that can be done on order in BC but those changes will not be updated in Dynamics 365 Sales.
Does anyone now how to open locked sales order in Dynamics 365 Sales so salespeople can enter additional item there? Or how to transfer updates Sales Order Lines in BC to order in Dynamics 365 Sales?

I also know that posted sales invoice can be sent from BC to Dynamics 365 Sales but initial order in Dynamics 365 Sales remains the same.

Cheers.
