Hi,

Has anyone printed report in receipt size. I want to now the setting of receipt size report. I am currently getting Ssrs report in multiple receipt for one report. I want one single receipt how to achieve that? Please guide.

Report

Set the SSRS report paper size based on your requirement. Consider the header, footer and margins.

Design your report with maximum allowed characters. For example, if your report having first name field, first name table field string size is 30, test your report with 30 character name. If it is not fit with your report, please change the font smaller and test.

Hi Hariharan,

My report is working fine width wise. But the problem is that when there are huge number of rows. It takes the report to multiple pages. I want to keep it to a single page.

Please test with maximum no of lines.

Note: SSRS should not handle or reduce the font size based on your report paper size. We need to work for fit the content to the paper size by only decrease the font size.

I have tested the report with maximum number of lines.

But the problem is that it only displays rows which fits into Page Length. Rest of the rows are shifted to the next page. I want all rows which are 1000s in number to be be displayed in a single page. I have set the font size to 8pt which is minimum readable font.

Actually, It adds the page break after the specified page height. Is there any setting which we do to print receipt size report. or what could I do to print the entire report in a single page.

No way. You need to decrease font size. Because you expecting that more lines should print in the small size paper. If you do this manually like using MS word or Corel Draw, what idea you will do?

Hi ideally there is no fool proof solution i am aware of on continuous printing on ssrs.

You can essentially try to set the page height to a very large value in custom page sizes and also set the same on interactive page settings aswell.
