Ax 2012 Retail POS receipt printing on basic transactions

I am making som tests in the Ax 2012 demo image - (R3 CU9). I have changed so that Receipts are printed to OneNote. So now I am able to go to the Jounal in the pos and print a receipt.

Now i am a bit confused - I can make basic sales and return transactions - but no receipt is outputted (unless I go to the journal and print it afterwards). Now I want to be sure - Is not the default behavior that a receipt is printed - everytime that you make a transaction.

I have checked that Ax Retailparameters -/posting / email receipt -/ and the option states: POS. I am missing an option somewhere - or is it default you have to print the receipt from journal after the transaction.

Hi,

Check your receipt profile, have you add the proper receipt for the operation?

Hello Soren,

Have you check if your printer configuration is properly done?

POS hardware Profile : Printer

Check if the Receipt id is correct and the correct printer name is there.

Please make sure that you have selected the print behavior to always print in receipt format.
