Hello,
I'm trying to figure out which entity can be used to export or import a project's delivery address; as show below:
When looking at the form of the ProjTable, I can see it is linked to the LogisticsPostalAddress table. However I can't seem to find an entity which will contain the information that I wrote in the screenshot.
Thanks
Hi Alex,
The Projects V2 entity is supporting a LocationId representing the address. If the address to be used is not linked to the customer or party address, there is no entity supporting the scenario correctly. You can consider extend the current Projects V2 entity or create a custom one to better support the import or export of postal addresses.
Hi André,
Thanks for the reply. When exporting my project I see the DeliveryName which would contain my example "testLocationId". However, the LocationId field has an ID value, for example: 001315260.
I found that the Id 001315260 is stored in the LogisticsLocation table. I just don't know how to extract this with a data entity.
If I need to provide a customization for this then I will do so.
The LocationId is included in entities like Party postal addresses and Customer postal addresses. However, these entities will only export data where the address location is linked to a party or customer.
If these entities are not exporting your address, then indeed you can create a new entity or extend the current Projects V2 entity to get the address details.
