we had this week the issue that our db server crashed (due to some problems with log files). At this moment a financial transaction was booked in AX2012 R2. The booking AX 2012 R2 was fully closed and consistent, but the data did not come to Mgmt reporter.
As we didn't find any "force fully sync" we did rebuild the datamart. Looks fine now.
Here comes my question:
Is there any way to see if datamart is out of sync with AX?
Log fil? Sql script?
or is there any way to do a "full datamart sync" with out rebuild the datamart?
Need to convince finance team that their loved tool mgmt reporter is trust full ..

Hi Pirmin,
There is no full rebuild option other than recreating the datamart. I'm not familiar with the MR datamodel to answer the part of your question about consistency. I think it would be possible to create some SQL scripts, but would be quite difficult to create. You could also compare e.g. a trial balance report from AX and MR.
