Update Opportunity with Data from Opportunity Close

Hello, 

I have a requirement where I need to update the Opportunity with data from the Opportunity Close form. Is there a way to do this without code? I tried to create a workflow that would pull data from the Opportunity Close and populate it on the Opportunity, but I was not able to select Opportunity Close or Activity as a trigger entity.

    Hello,

    My recommendation would be to use Power Automate for this purpose. The algorithm should be the following:

    1. Create a Power Automate that handles onchange of "State" field.

    2. Check if the state is "Won"/"Lost".

    3. Query the latest "Opportunity Close" record.

    4. Update the opportunity using the data from "Opportunity Close" record.

    Hi ras13j,

    Yes, You can't use opportunity close entity in the workflow, which is by-design.

    But you can find it in the power automate, so you can create one flow to achieve your goal:

    1.Go Power Automate to create one automated flow:

    2.Trigger--when a row is added:

    3.Add one action--Update a row:
