I want to work with Resource Scheduling Optimization.
Is there a way to use it for free in a trail/demo-version of d365 or do i have to buy this add-on?

Hello Marvin,
To request an RSO trial you will need to contact your Microsoft representative(if you have one) or create a support ticket with Microsoft support and they should be able to request the trial for you as described in the documentation.
