Hi All;
This is something new for us and I was hoping that someone within the community have either ran into the same scenario or have some experience around it. We are looking to expose the Employee Self Service (ESS/EP) portal to be accessed through the internet with the added security of having a F5 device being in front to pre-authenticate the user against the Active Directory, our goal is to only when the authentication succeeds, the user is allowed to access the application (ESS). To simplify the process for end user, because we capture credentials on the F5 we can then perform a single sign on to the application and the user never sees the prompt from the application (ESS). We want to avoid the situation where user would have to authenticate twice, once at F5 device and second at the application (ESS) level.
F5 does support Single Sign On and integrates with application, but our challenge right now is to identify how to integrate with the EP to provide a uniform single sign on experience.
I am looking for some guidance or any documentation that is available that we can use to complete this kind of software configuration.
Any help is much appreciated.
