Security Roles.

Hi there,

I am setting up our new unified interface application, and trying to get the security roles matching the roles within the organisation.

However I am stumped at the first hurdle. I cannot get the Basic Role to be able to access the new application.

The model-drive app is set to organisation on read, but the Basic Role still cannot see the application.

If I change my test email address to system administrator, then it's fine and the app becomes viewable, but I cannot figure out which one allows the test email to view/access the application under basic user security role.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Please login with the user having security role which you have created.
now after login if Apps are not visible then please click F12 and goto developer tools.

Inside Developer Tools, go to console Tab there you find error message.

In my case i was getting below error and i was also setting up the basic security roles for my CRM users.

    Hi,

It is necessary to assign the security role to the certain application. So that the users with the role can access the app.

    Hi Pradeep,

    Thanks for your help.

I can see the error message but do you know how to resolve it?

I have it set up in security that the user can read the model-driven app. I have done what Nya below has suggested and that makes no difference.

    Thaks,

    Cait

    Hi Cait,

The screenshot which you have shared it represent the warning.

Error will appear in red color format as shown in my earlier screenshot.

Also, i found below blog which will help you to step the same.
