Dear All,

While processing payment GENERATE PAYMENT Option is disabled in AP

I have full rights and Payment Method is also set correctly

Check Type is Free

Hello Haider,

Can you provide some additional information on your issue such as how the method of payment is setup, what you have selected/entered so far in the journal, which journal you used, etc.?

Can you verify that no adjustment/modification that has been made prevents the generation of the payments?

Another thing that would be interesting to know is whether the generate payment option is just not available for your user but possibly for others.

Hello Ludwig,

Firstly Method of Payment

I am using Payment Journal of Vendor Payment

There has been no modification done

Currently i am using Sys Admin Role

I also tried Ap Roles

Hello Haider,

There seems basically nothing wrong with the setup.

Can you check whether some of the payment controls / Attribute Parameters have been selected in the method of payment form?

Can you check whether the check Setup is done for the bank account that you selected?

Has this actually worked before or is this the first time you run into this error?

Hello Ludwig,

For payment controls / Attribute Parameters nothing is selected

For Check Setup

I haven't generated any check number.

I have set check number field to Free.

yes this is the first time i am using Check Number

Do you have Vendor Disbursement workflow enabled? That will disable generate payment until the journal has been approved.

I had approval authorities set on this journal not any workflow

when i approved the journal then the Generate Payment option got enabled
