Update task in WBS as complete when project record field is set to "YES" using Workflows

Hi experts,

I have a field in the project record called "deposit received" (two options - yes/no) .

Now, when I set this field as "Yes" I would like the task in the work breakdown structure to be marked as completed.

Is this possible at all. If yes is it possible through workflows?

Thanks,

Jon

    Hi Jagmohan,

So I have a Yes/No field on the project record called "Deposit Received"

When I change the field to Yes, I would like the task called "test" in the work breakdown structure to be marked as complete

Please guide me on how I can accomplish this as I am unable to wrap my head around this.

    Thanks,

    Jon

can you please tell me, which field you want to use as status? is there any custom field?

Any field can be used as status at this point.

Or when we assign the task to a member, it should get marked as "complete" in the bookings and tasks view:

I would like to mark this task completed onchange of the field.

    Thanks,

    Jon
