I have a product in AX 2009 which has a quantity in kg and I have done a lot of transaction with kg unit, Now i want to change the unit in pound. How can I change unit of product?

Hi Daud,
The best would be setup a new item. Then you know for sure nothing will be mixed up.
If you really want to change the unit, you have to ensure that the physical and financial value is 0. Also first run the inventory closing if you have an inventory model other that Standard cost.
If you meet these requirements, you can change the unit on the item form (inventory, purchase, sales, BOM unit.) Then you have to review trade agreements.
