Dynavistics Sales Logic support ends need alternative

I'm in the planning stages of upgrading Microsoft Dynamics GP to the most current version and our consultants notified me that Dynavistics ended all support for a third party product called sales logic. We use this product to produce item discounts for each line by part or whole good. In some cases there would be multiple stacked discounts for volume discounts. The discounts displayed would be controlled by a Sales Logic Contract window.

My question is, does anyone know of an alternative product that might fit our needs or a developer that can help us get this product validated for the current version of Dynamics GP?

Currently running 18.2.1013

Looking to upgrade to 18.5

If Dynavistics ended all support but you can upgrade the "Sales Logic" by yourself?  Dynavistics  does not allow to upgrade yourself or they only do the upgrade for you?

I was going to add, if not in this Community, you can maybe look at pinpoint.microsoft.com, for consultants/developers that may work with and support that third party product.

    Thanks

You might want to reach out to Willoware and see if this is something they can do as a custom project. They do lots of custom GP functionality projects and have been a huge help in the past.

There's also another product out there called Rockton Pricing Management from Rockton Software that I believe could do what Sales Logic is doing for you now.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi:

It depends on how it was developed. If it is pure dex/sql, I suggest first to try if the cnk installs and works ok in 18.5.

We have developed an add on that calculates multiple stack of discount, based on customer type, item group discout, special discounts, etc. with easy maintenance. Feel free to pm for custom development to fit your needs.

    Sandip,

    Thank you for your response!

I believe they are wiping their hands with this product. They purchased it from another company a few years ago and they only had a small team or one guy supporting it and I believe their main developer that worked on Sales Logic no longer works for them.

    Derek,

Thank you for your response and suggestion! I was hoping to get a good direction to go for developers.

    Hello Joe,

    Thank you for your response!

I was trying to remember willoware! They have some amazing products. Also i do use Rockton Reports so might be nice to see if they have something that will work for us.

    Hello Martin,

    Thank you for your response!

I was thinking of asking our consultants if they can see if it will work. Last upgrade we paid Sales Logic alot of money to rewrite the code for their needs and then they abandon it. I would hope that the code was good enough to get through a few updates.

I will reach out to you when I get a little time to do some digging! Thank You!

If there's anything I can answer about the Rockton Pricing Management software or any other assistance you need, please let me know. Sometimes it helps to just bounce ideas off of others!

    Thanks.

Hi there! If you're looking for an alternative product that might fit your needs, or if you need help getting your current Dynamics GP product validated for the current version, there are a few options available to you.

One option is to do some research and explore other products that are available in the market. You may want to look for products that offer similar features and functionality to what you're currently using, and that are compatible with the latest version of Dynamics GP.

Another option is to reach out to a developer or consultant who specializes in Dynamics GP. They may be able to help you troubleshoot any issues you're experiencing with your current product, or provide guidance on alternative solutions that would better fit your needs.

Regardless of which option you choose, it's important to take the time to thoroughly evaluate any potential solutions before making a decision. Be sure to consider factors like cost, ease of use, and compatibility with your existing systems and processes.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or need any additional assistance.
