Dynamics AX 201 R2 sales order supplied from mulitple warehouses

Good morning,

I have a situation where a sales order has been supplied from 2 different locations.  The order itself shows only a single warehouse but the picking list shows two picking list journals one from the main warehouse and then another for the item that could not be supplied from the original warehouse but this is on a different warehouse. If I look at the lot transactions (from the sales line) the inventory lot transaction inventory dimension agrees with the picking list but the warehouse on the sales line is the original warehouse - not the one supplied from and the fianancial dimensions retlate to the sales order.  I don't know how this has happened and no one is admitting changing anything.  Unfortunately the salesParmtable has been cleaned of older data so I cannot find the user involved.

This undocumented feature may be handy for those items I cannot supply from the primary warehouse.  Does anyone know how this happens or how to split a sales order into multiple picking lists for different warehouses?

Thanks

Paulina
