Bar Code Setup error - Font is Not valid for Bar Code type

Hi Friends ,

I'm facing issue when trying to setup Bar Codes ( Path is Retail > Setup > Bar codes and labels > Bar code setup.) as follows ,

I've cross check with Fonts Folder , that bar code fonts are already in fonts folder.

any one experienced with same issue ?,

Your bar code type should not be "No Bar code". Please check your bar code type. Please check your "Font Name" exist under barcode data. Whatever "Font" are you selecting it should be part of installer macro.

Hi Bhaskar,

I selected proper bar code type , same as my Bar code mask , when i select proper barcode type , font also selected ( I can see font name) automatically .but when i click on drop down it is empty.I gone through Barcode Classes , When I'm checking one by one I saw that the font Names are defined inside that classes (I think it is hard coded).

Please check that font available in AOS server not in your client machine (I think client machine is also need when you run the barcode content SSRS reports.)

If it is installed newly, please restart the AOS and check.

If it is installed newly, please restart the AOS and check.

Else uninstall and restart the service, install the fonts and restart the service.

Hi Hariharan ,

Font is already in AOS Server (Currently I'm working inside server). I don't need add barcode to SSRS at the moment .I have already restarted AOS several times.

Please put the debugger

\Classes\Barcode\lookupFontName and validate font name. Please clear your cache and check.

printJobSettings is a system class. getFacename method is used to get the fonts list.

Did you tried that uninstall and restart the service, install the fonts and restart the service?
