We want to be able to select the resource within the resource group

Our Routes are all setup to use resource groups currently so

for example Resource Group :E05

It has three machines 210 211 and 245

Is there are any way to manually select the resource within the applicable resources in the production work order.

We don't want to go to the change each route currently as well.

Have you tried going to the production route associated with the production order and changing the resource? In the resource requirements delete the resource group line and add in a resource line.

Yes I have tried that but that remove the run time for the resource so we have to out it again, and that defeat the propose of the group.

Our ideal solution is to be able to select the resource from the group without deleting as we have to reschedule and type in the run time.

Then go the resource group, select the Gantt chart for the period of the current schedule and drag the planned capacity from one resource to another.

We only use currently operation schedule for the production work orders.

we use “Current Operations” ?  Production control > Common > Current operations.

I was looking to see if I could find a way to view the schedule for a machine (resource) without using the gantt charts. as we don't have job schedule.  I have used current operations before and thought this might be a good option as it breaks down the production orders into operations giving start and end dates.   I looked at Production order which was the order we tested  it gives me 36 lines of the run operation (op10)resource ,and for the sub operation (op20)1 time.  I do not understand the 36 lines  for the run operation ? why does it show it so many times ?

We only want to see the machine schedule for the week or month, what is the best way for that?

I would load a different question in a different post with screen shots, this is not the same original question to change resource.

Okay, it is just to give others the opportunity to see and contribute, which is easier in a new post!
