Hii Everyone,
We are setting up NAV2016 in our company, and while configuring the document approval functions, we have a problem with sending the email.
the error message reads:
Failure from SMTP Mailsystem.
"Failure sending mail.
Unable to connect to the remote server".
I believe we have the correct SMTP credentials with the port 25 and auth. set on Basic and anonymous, but this error message still appears on the NAV client of the person sending i.e. a purchase invoice for approval.
Anyone have any idea how to resolve that?

hope its not form NAV side , check your email server allowed for your SMTP setup and enabled
Check your SMTP credential or port, there's something wrong for sure (ask to your IT). POrt could be different than 25, accordingly to your mail server settings.
