Hi All,
How to assess impact of renaming a lookup field, will there be any?
This lookup field i am thinking to rename so far i know is used in views, dashboards.

Hi,
I don't think there Will be a problema at all. Unless you have some custom code that refer to the display label of that field (but this would be and uncommon and bad way to code).
The schema name of the field will remain the same, so i don't see any problem.

Thanks for your swift reply.
My main confusion is around Keys on entity and this look field being the unique identifier.
But i think you are right if i do not change the schema name it should be okay.
no impact on customizations or back-end code. View columns, labels on forms will change.
