Sales tax on purchasing transactions

Hi everyone-

Is there a way to get the GL account to default when entering sales tax on transactions? I know I can go into the posting accounts setup, select Purchasing and enter a GL account there, but that isn't what I want.

Can it default to the purchases GL account for the vendor?

    Wouldn't it be defaulting the account from each Tax Detail assigned to the Tax Schedule?
