I hava a new table (e.g table1) and it only have transdate qty and cost value fields and the other one is invent trans table which I need to get the values and cost according to transdate I selected. this form is for the inquiry. can I set the transdate as primary key to generated data from inventtrans to table1?

thank you.

Ivan

Yes, you can use date fields in primary keys. Just try it and see for yourself.

    Hi SII1MNL,

If you set the date as a primary key, if there is multiple data for single date how it will pick the data from Invent Trans uniquely.

you can try as Martin said.

    Thanks
