Hi Everyone,

Need quick support on the following error below when trying to post an expense.

One or more accounting distribution is missing a ledger account or contains a ledger account that is not valid. Use the Accounting distribution form or the Posting profile to update the ledger account.
The state of the source document or source document line could not be updated.

    Hi Disu,

    You can click on 'Distribute amounts' to complete the ledger account for the expense report. Note that you also have to review the expenses setup as there might be a ledger integration missing.

    Here is the screen shot of the expense distribute amount and how do i complete the ledger account the expense report.

    How do i work around the ledger integration with expense.

    Hi Andre,

    I was able to sort the following error message out with the below process.

    I mapped an expense category to wrong main account that linked to my COA, I edited the expense category that was wrongly mapped and linked in to the right expense account  code on the COA.

    Solution for above error.

    1. Go to Inventory management -->Setup-->Posting -->Posting - Validate the main account updated for the item/category or etc...

    2.Go to General ledger -->Setup-->Ledger-->Click Account structure, check required dimension is available.. ex.Dept,Business unit, cost center ..etc.
