I want to change the default MS Fixed asset roll forward -> Excel export
The Default Template is based on the Table : AssetRollForwardTmp and building on this one there are two Recordlists: AssetRollForwardTotals and AssetRollForwardTotalsByGroup
I want to add extra information. The "Period acquisitions" shall be split by the Information "Reclassification = Yes/No"
This information is in the table "AssetTrans". It is an enumeration YesNo: Reclassification with corresponding fields ("Amount" and "Voucher")
Since voucher is not the most important i was able to get the information Yes/No with the aggregated Amount for each group.
So far so good,
my trouble starts, because of course i want to bind the dataset from AssetRollForwardTmp to my dataset from AssetTrans. So that if i display the AssetName in an Excel-Group with the AssetTransAmountSum for Reclassification "Yes" i get the correct value.
I can see a possibility to edit the code in X++ to change the original AssetRollForwardTmp to include the other fields. But i would rather do only from inside of Electronic Reporting.
I am fairly new to the topic of ER, so any tips might be the one i am missing. And if there is an expert readings this, the words: "This is not possible from within ER" would also save me some time.
