Radio button size and font size

Hi,

I have an unbound radio button on a form. I have to reduce the size as well as the font size of it.

For the control size, I set its height mode to manual and height to 2. But, that crops the radio button circle (as could be seen in the image), which I do not want.

For the font size, I tried <controlName>.fontSize(7) or <controlName>.fontSize(8), but it changes nothing.

With best regards,

    Hi Abhinay,

Where are you placing the code for altering the size of the control?

    Hi Gunjan,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have tried the form's init method and the run method, after the call for super.

    Regards,

    Abhinay

    Abhinay,

I can't see any way we can alter the size of the radio button. I don't think the framework allows for changes to these controls so that the entire application maintains the same design.

    Hi Abhinay,

Why are you trying to change the font/size? D365FO uses CSS for all the styling to maintain consistency (and few other things) and we can't use font/size properties anymore.

    Hi Abhinay,

Have you tried to set the DisplayHeight property of the control?

    Hi Will,

    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, the Radio Button control does not have that property.

    Regards,

    Abhinay

    Hi Abhinay,

    A few suggestions:
For unbound controls and to control their styling the best suggestion is to add css property for the control under the Resources node. Later, in D365 F&SCM, you can add this Resource as a reference to the Form control and then add this resource as a reference.
There are limitations with respect to altering the font size within D365 F&SCM itself and the length of the radio control in parallel because the font size is standard across most of the controls in D365 F&SCM. To alter the length you can refer this resource node .js file that is required when we load the D365 F&SCM page.

    Hope this helps.
