Unallocating Components when Reopening Finished Orders

Hi:

I see that, in version 26, you can reopen a Production Order that's in a "Finished" status.

After doing so, what window can you access to see that the components' quantities have been unallocated?

Hi, As far as I know, this just means the state changes to Release, and the components' quantities will not automatically reverse.

I have tested it before, and the Remaining Quantity will not return to the original quantity.

In Item Ledger Entries:

You can now reopen a Production Order that is in Finished status. However, reopening it does not automatically unallocate the components. You need to go and check as per below screen shot provided YUN ZHU

Hello John,

As per mentioned by other professionals system will not be directly unallocate the consumed components, for that you need to go to Item ledger Entries > Actions > Functions > Reverse Production Order Transaction.

System will do a reverse entries against the Consumption and Output Entries.

You can click on Yes to reverse the entries.
