So, one of the users I support is trying to open an excel document from Dynamics that needs to be repaired, but if he already has excel running it prompts him to open a new blank workbook rather than giving him the option to repair the file and open it. We can open the program by using the standard: File>open>[workbook], and it prompts the repair and opens the workbook.
Despite the work around, we are both curious if anyone else is having similar issues, and if there is a known fix action. I haven't been able to find one as of yet.
