DAX 2012 moving customized reports from DEV to UAT to PROD

With the SSRS reports, what is the best practice for moving the reports across environments. 

Is it the same way, export and xpo and import it into the target environment and then deploy the report from AOT...

    Move all reports + modified classes,queries, menu items by exporting xpo and inporting to Prod.

    After you can use PowerShell to deploy all SSRS reports by one command.
