Getting access to Dynamics ERP Feedback AX program in Connect site

Hi.

I am wondering, does one know more precisely what is required by a person to get into the New Dynamics AX Connect program (more precise the Dynamics ERP Feedback AX program) in order to enable it to download the new VM RTW?

So, on Connect I am logging in using my account that is also associated with a Microsoft Partner, but that's the extend to which I know how things work. Can someone share more light into this, as I am sure other are curious.

I imagine being linked to a Partner is mandatory, but after that can one do something to get access, or is the company, etc?

Thanks.

I don't follow these things very closely, therefore I don't know the current status, nevertheless try to fill in Company Nomination Form to join our Microsoft Dynamics AX R&D Feedback Community.

And a side question of the initial one: if a developer (not associated with a Partner) buys a MSDN subscription, will it get now access to download the AX RTW machine?

The answer is no. Note that you MSDN subscription doesn't include any VMs for any version of AX (AFAIK) and there is no .iso for AX 7.

    Hi Lulian,

I am not sure if you are looking for this exactly, but have a look at this: msdax7.blogspot.com/.../how-to-start-development-for-microsoft.html

    Hi Vinit,

Thank you very much, this solves the other major part of the question. So, just to recap, the invite code mentioned in your post is actually a public invite for any developer to get the VM.

    Hi Lulian,

I got this invite link some where on the official blog/wiki page(I do not remember). So I assume it is public. I refrain from blogging if it is not public.

It seems It is not available for public, I took down the page.

    @Iulian,

if you are a partner's employee, Microsoft may send you free subscriptions for every new version(s).

Recently Microsoft has sent 18 months free subscription for AX7 to partners. you may think to write to your regional Microsoft Office to get details, on, why you haven't received such offer and what is criteria for that.

    Hi Sohaib,

I was not aware of that. Thanks for the details, they add indeed more insights to the overall answer.
