transfer into excel using CTRL+ T does not work

Hello guys,

Please, could you help me with this issue? For my work was very useful to have the possibility to export the data from AX into excel using CTRL+T. Now I can not do this as I just open a new tab (instead of export into new excel book). I have to go to tab “file” and export to the excel ,which I have to save somewhere to be able to work with it.

Its quite time consuming, therefore I would like to ask you for help

Thanks a lot.

Kind regards,

Jitka

Since you mention tabs, I guess your question is about Dynamics 365 for Finance / Supply Chain Management, and not Dynamics AX. Am I correct?

In web browsers, Ctrl-T is reserved for opening a new tab.

But, you can still export to Excel, by using a new shortcut which is documented here: docs.microsoft.com/.../shortcut-keys

    Hello Jitka,

For what AX/D365FO version do you need this export to Excel?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Jitka,

When you say it is now opening a new tab, I do assume you are using Dynamics 365? If so, the new shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+E.

Please confirm what version of Microsoft Dynamics you are using.

It appears that you created the question twice on this forum. I have merged both threads now.
