CRM Customer Services - How do you find out what data is being used.

Hi there,

I'm trying to put together an export from Dynamics CRM but the question is, How do you find out what data is supporting your app. E.g. Common Data Service, DataVerse? I've asked the question to the people who set this up and they don't know so I'm wondering if there is a way of finding out?

Once I know what im dealing with I can then start asking the right questions

Hi Debbie,

For your question, “How do you find out what data is supporting your app”, I don't quite understand what you are trying to understand.

You can export data for each entity(table) in the view by clicking export button, which contains fields(columns) value.

As for the example you suggested, “Common Data Service, DataVerse”

Common Data Service has been renamed to Microsoft Dataverse, you can refer following link:

Perhaps you could ask more detailed and targeted questions.
