Hello,

I am using NAV 2013. I got an error when post a sales order.

When I check the Line--->Item Tracking Lines, it says: "Item Tracking Code must have a Value in Item.  It cannot be zero or empty".

    Hi Alexander,

It's all "0" in the Appl.-to Item Entry", but when I drill down the field, I find 2 Positive Adjmt. Entries associated with this Item.

What would happen if you select first one of those and post it?

It still shows me the same error message.

It's said that it is an Application Hotfix and is solved in NAV 2015. But I am using NAV 2013.

Has a developer gone in and messed with the data on the back end? This is a serious error in that NAV cannot find the appropriate entries to apply the transaction.

Please check if you have any entry in Tracking Specification or Reservation Entry Table for this particular Sales Order record.

If not, arrange to debug the code and you would find the exact root cause for this error.

If they shipped but not invoiced check all lines if their item tracking line have quantity to invoice <>0. If its 0 on quantity to invoice in item tracking line it shows that error.
