Role of Work Users

Dear Experts,

I am currently setting up a warehouse for test purposes in the Warehouse Management modules using the form warehouse management parameters. In the tab General, section Work, there is a field for Default work user ID. I need to know what is the function of a work user in a warehouse and if this field is crucial?

I checked the Internet and the help function of AX, but I haven t found any useful information yet.

    Hi Bartmack,

    Work user play a very important role in advanced WHS, it is basically use for executing warehouse operation using mobile device like Pick, Put etc. of work order type. You can create and configure work user under below navigation path -

    Warehouse management > Setup > Work user > Worker

    Hi Sanjay, Can you clarify why there are multiple work users under one Worker? It seems like I can have multiple work users (mobile device accounts) under one worker (AX account).
