Gets the error "Retail POS encountered a problem and could not print" while printing invoice.

Check Printer type and printer name in Retail Hardware profile and after making suitable changes sync 1090 Job to POS db and check again

Check that in receipt profile, receipt type 'invoice' is selected and the receipt profile is attached to hardware profile.
This is a generic error. Please share the logs from event veiwer.
Have you installed new model printers? if yes then change the name of printer to older ones and copy dll files in Extension folder applied to Retail pos.
