In Ax2012 I had a custom AIF web service where I could send in a Account number and a date range, and it would return all product prices for that customer within that date range
Is there any built in data entity in D365 FO that will perform similar functionality?
Hi richierich79,
AIF is deprecated in D365.
It is still possible like AX2012 to create custom services in D365.
Please have a look at this DOC:
docs.microsoft.com/.../services-home-page
use data entity 'Open sales price journal lines'
Hi Richerich79,
I think a correct entity, in this case, is SalesPriceAgreementEntity. How many prices do you expect to retrieve by one call?
@Rahul I think "Open sales price journal lines" will just give me the agreement lines
I want the entity to take into consideration Price agreements for Discount Groups\AccountNumbers\Items and the product card price, and return the calculated price of all items for an accountnumber, for a given date \ time period
@Sergei Thanks, I will take a look at SalesPriceAgreementEntity, do you think it covers the above?
Hi Richierich79,
SalesPriceAgreementEntity is built on top of PriceDiscTable with restriction by SalesPrice and Cust module. I think it should cover most of this, but not sure about return price.
@Sergei I can't find SalesPriceAgreementEntity in my Application Explorer. Which model is it part of?
A search for SalesAgreement entity brings up the following. Do I need to load a model, or was this entity released in a later version?
Hi,
Which version are you using? I'm on 10.0.10
I have this so I assume Im quite far behind?
Installed product version : Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (8.1)
Installed platform version : Update20 (7.0.5030.35333)
Is that entity in the application suite model of your version?
And is updating AX versions fairly straight forward from LCS?
Yes, it's a part of Application Suite model.
I should be quite straight forward to update from 8.1 to 10.X, but it could require a lot of testing and customization redesign.
I suggest you will deploy 10.0.10 VM devbox and try to compile your current codebase against it. Later you can decide what to do. If you don't have any plans or resources for the update, it's easier to make a custom entity.
docs.microsoft.com/.../appupdate-80-81
I think for now the quickest thing to do would be to create a custom entity. (demo in two weeks lol)
I'll look into it. I'd obviously like to use D365s calculation logic for calculating a price for a given date, or date range.
Do you know if that's possible to do in a data entity
