Integrate Leave request in outlook

Hi HR experts,

I'm wondering if there's a standard solution available where a leave request creation triggers the automatic creation of a corresponding calendar request in Outlook. Do you know if such functionality exists within our systems, or if there's a recommended approach for implementing this feature?

At this moment, there is no standard functionality, but you can user Power Platform or Logic Apps to make it happen. I did long back but if you need free source code, please send me a message.

What a wonderful question! As of right now, there isn't a built-in feature that triggers Outlook to automatically generate a matching calendar request whenever a leave request is created. We may, however, investigate our alternatives for putting this feature into practice. One way would be to automate the generation of calendar events by linking our leave request system with Outlook's API. Though bespoke work would be needed, this is probably doable. Using third-party plugins or programs that provide this feature is an additional choice. Let's continue our conversation to figure out how to best satisfy your needs.
