Azure Service Bus Mobile Configuration

Hello everyone,

I am trying to integrate Axapta into the mobile platform. I have a few questions to ask. These are;

1- What does Service Bus we have created to use Axapta on mobile ?

2- Also, where is the AD FS transaction shown in the photo ?
Is this a service Microsoft has present to us? Or is it a local computer operation? I just wonder about the platform.

I hope that, I could tell in my opinion. I'm sorry for my bad english.

Thank you for everything

Service Bus is an Azure service dealing with the communication on your behalf. The mobile application just have to know how to connect to the Azure service; it doesn't have to somehow tunnel to the on-premises system. That would be complicated and potentially insecure.

ADFS allows the mobile app to authenticate with your Active Directory. It's something you have to configure (as explained in documentation).

    Hi Batuhan -

I think the service bus here is actually an Azure service bus, a messaging service that runs on Azure cloud. It allows async communication between applications and hence reducing the time and effort needed to setup such a mechanism in connected applications architecture in a local enterprise. You can get more details here.

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/service-bus/

The ADFS (Active directory Federation Services) is an authentication and authorization framework which basically authenticate your organization users to the running mobile app so that only your organization's user can only access the mobile app.

    I hope that helps.

    regards,

    -Fahad

    Thank you for your feedback.

In addition, I would like to ask another question. Do i install the service bus to another server ? (Is it possible?)

Can not I do "service bus" operation on my own server?

I think you can. Although I have never done it before.
