Migration of documents to Zetadocs Express on Sharepoint

Hi

Is there a migration tool to transfer documents and references from a file server to Sharepoint 2013 as a batch-job?

We have upgraded an Microsoft Dynamics Nav solution from Nav5.0 to Nav2013r2. Zetadocs is installed and is working as a document archive on Sharepoint for purchase orders.

The customer had references to documents on a file server in the old version. We now want to migrate these documents into Sharepoint via Zetadocs Express, so that the users can fetch the documents from MS Dynamics NAV.

Regards

Súni Danielsen

    Hello Súni,

I believe there are various tools available to transfer batches of documents from file server > SharePoint, however for these documents to be linked to NAV records and visible in the factbox on the relevant NAV records you would need to capture the documents using Zetadocs Express drag & drop functionality.

    Kind regards,

You will also require the following, which are typically included in your order fulfilment email

A username and password to download the software
A Zetafax starter system license for this version of the software, similar to the following:
    12345678‑V17START10‑ABCDEF
    Upgrading an existing system
We recommend that you read the following technotes before upgrading an existing Zetafax system:

    ZTN2133 – What’s new in Zetafax version 17.5
ZTN2134 - HOWTO: Updating to Zetafax version 17.5
You will also require the following, which are typically included in your order fulfilment email:

A username and password to download the software
If you are upgrading from Zetafax 2014 (version 16) or earlier: A Zetafax upgrade license for this version of the software, similar to the following:
    U1234567‑V17USER10‑ABCDEF
If you have Software Assurance for your Zetafax system, please contact your local distributor or Equisys at sales@equisys.com to obtain these details.

If you do not have Software Assurance you will need to purchase an upgrade to update your software. Please contact either Equisys or your software supplier for more information.

    Zetafax Server and Client
This download contains the Zetafax Server setup program, which also installs the Zetafax Client Applications setup program

    ZetafaxInstallSet.exe (Password Protected)
    Email integration
If you want to use your email client to send and receive faxes, you will also need to download some of the following. What you need to download will depend on the mail system you are running.

    Exchange Online
    Exchange 2013 and later
    Exchange 2010
    SMTP mail servers
    Additional components
These are optional applications that may be installed to add extra features.

    Remote Administration
This program can be used to access your Zetafax server from a remote location, allowing a network administrator to monitor and configure the Zetafax server programs from a remote computer, rather than from the computer running the server programs.

    ZFRemoteAdmin.exe (Password Protected)
    Zetafax Web Client
The Web Client can be used to send and receive faxes using a web browser instead of the Zetafax Client. You can download the Web Client by clicking on the link below.

    ZetafaxWebClientSetup.exe (Password Protected)
    Password Protection
To be eligible to download this software, you must have purchased a starter system or upgrade for this version of the product, or have a current Software Assurance agreement. I hope this information to Zetadocs express to SharePoint Migration is helpful.
