AsciiIO class usgae/initialisation issue in Platform 46

Hi all,

I have two dev servers one is Platform 42 and other is platform 46.

For an CSV import i am using AciiIO class . In pf 42, its working fine.

whereas in pf46, its not getting initiliased and on the top of it assiging as null.

My sample code.

AsciiIo file;

file = new AsciiIo(fileName,"R");

in "Filename" i am giving the path and file with extension.

here in file variable i am getting as "null" in pf 46 ,whereas in pf 42 its showing as "Dynamics.Ax.Application.AsciiIO".

Please advise any suggestions / workaround to fix it.

    What kind of path are you using in fileName? Using a file path is strange when running code in cloud.

    HI Martin,

    FileName is like using "C:\Import\excelfile.xls"  example as of now. for cloud they have configured setups i think.

    Hmm, how do you know that the Azure server executing your code will have C:\Import folder and the folder will contain excelfile.xls?

    The only way how you can know that is that you've just put the file there in the same piece of logic, but then why do you need a file at all?
